The Most Important Lessons by Geomancing The Most Important Lessons by Geomancing
...are not learned from books.

The ones you meet, the wise souls who teach you, laugh along with you, comfort you and wipe away your tears: their lessons are the ones that truly matter.

This is tiny Twilight sitting on her book. That is all.

I saw the title and was going to guess "...are learned from giant books?" Guess I lose.

If the lessons aren't from books, then why is she sitting on books?

Good lord those books are as big as a horse. Are you sure the lessons aren't in them?

She looks almost colt-ish here, but there's still enough to reconize that she's Twilight Sparkle. Her mane seems almost too short, but the general shape is captured very well, and her tail is pretty much as long as it should be due to it always arcing in her show appearances. Love the pose, and the shine you brought out in her hair is beautiful. Also, those are giant books indeed. It seems like one belongs to Celestia, one to Luna and one is about the modern version of the Elements.
Makes it look like a depiction of my beloved Twilight Sparkle further down the road of her studies, having mastered what Celestia and Luna had to teach, but still an Element-bearer and a marvellous friend. Now that's what I like to see. Also, she remains a unicorn, which is the only way to go for me.
Thus, the picture those books allowed me to paint actually ends up helping the impression of the drawing I get--an interesting feat to accomplish, and a good one, maker!
Thank you!

This is really cute, but I'm just imagining how long her tail would have to be in this picture. :v
